Baked Salami and cheese grilled cheese roll ups.

My kids are “Salami” lovers, totally!!! A salami and cheese sandwich is literally my 6 yr olds most favorite sandwich in the world. I am constantly trying to create and write recipes to suit my children’s food preferences so coming up with these little cuties were a total “home run” in the kid department. Super easy and really quick to make, and they are surprising delicious eaten either just right out of the oven or chilled right out of fridge.
16 pieces of Potato bread

1/4 lb thin sliced salami

16 slices of provolone or mozzarella

1/4 cup shredded mozzarella

2 tablespoons butter

2 tsp garlic powder
Trim all sides of each slice of bread. Once trimmed, grab a rolling pin and roll each slice of bread till all slices are flat.

Add 1 piece of salami and then 1 piece of cheese, roll and place each one on a baking dish.

In a small microwave safe bowl, Melt butter and garlic powder together for 10 secs in the microwave. Using a pastry/basting brush, brush garlic butter all over each roll up. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top of each.

Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 mins till tops are golden brown.

Remove and let sit for 5 mins and serve with your favorite marinara sauce.
